The support is a joke , they just taking a mickey out of the customers . Spend 20 mins explaining that i have a problem with graphics driver installation its unable to install the support guy kept on asking me what is the problem for 20 mins in row. When we reached to the point what is the SSNID number it took him another 10 min to note it etc.. i eventually hang up , they are useless and disgusting
REALLY HORRIBLE SERVICE , don't send repairs center anything, it will be worse than it has been. I had my desktop not working within one year warranty, I had it pre tested by third party, it's a CPU problem, so I posted as instructed and after 3wks was told it is a LCD Panel problem which is not under the warranty, I wrote them and ask how could they prove that it is the LCD problem without warranty but not the CPU problem with warranty? then they send me a link that my SCREEN crashed like it was done by a heavy duty hammer. MY GOD!!! Could I get any legal support on this? It is totally exceeding my imagination.

This is the worst company I have ever seen in my life. I bought a laptop before 1 week only (11/05/2021) it's not working for 3 days and graphic card is also not working I dont know why the graphic card inbuilt in this
Power consumption is worst If use laptop for 1 hour it will reduce to 20% from 100%
So customer service is also worst they dont even consider the customer issues and all
Its fully of waste of my money
So please dont buy acer laptop

Absolutely outrageous. It is proving totally impossible to get a repair started on my laptop, despite having bought an extended care warranty that is supposed to give me priority service. Endless fobbed off, now told that I should go back to the retailer.
The quality of Acer laptops is AWFUL. I have only had mine for 1,5 years, but it's already super slow and makes very loud noises. I sent it in for repartions because of this, instead i get back that they found problems with the display and were going to replace the display holder which cost more than 100 dollars. Problems with the laptop displays lids from Acer are well-known and happen even if you are very careful with it. I should not have not pay for a manufacturing problem.
Now they can't even offer me PayPal as a payment method for the reparations, why? I have no idea.
Warning to everyone considering buying from Acer, DO NOT. Get yourself a nice laptop from HP or Lenovo instead.

Had the chance to test some pretty great products created by this company and must say i was amazed! I believe they can be considered never less or worse than other brands such as hp or dell.
I was an Acer laptop owner since 2009. Unfortunately, I am no longer going to use them, it's because of how many gigabits that was being used. Plus, the virus took over my old laptop and it died quickly, it couldn't work or function anymore. I am planning to either put it in the dumpster or donate it to a local or far away college to have better use.
A brand new laptop, out of the box won't work. Gives a message that "your laptop needs to be repaired. A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed. Error code 0XC0000185. You will need to use recovery tools; USB or disc". A recovery USB or disc was not provided with the computer.
Called Acer service. Told to push a pin into a little hole while holding down a Fn key. Nothing happened. Support says I have to send it to them for repair and will take 14 business days. They will keep me updated on progress.
17 business days later, I've heard nothing so call them. "Oh, so sorry. Yes it should be finished by now". Puts me on hold for 5 minutes to check with service center. "I have escalated this repair. I will call you back with a date to be returned". Heard nothing; no communication.
30 business days I called again to find out progress. "Oh, sorry. Your laptop needs a flash drive(??). They are waiting on part from warehouse". Can't tell me when the part will come in. Doesn't know how long it will take. Can't give me an estimated date for return.
Just rubbish service. Don't deal with them.
Do yourself a favor and buy anything else.
Based on all the other reviews here with the same story, I'm wondering if this company is just set up as a Chinese money scamming operation under the pretenses of being a computer company.
ACER Customer Service and management are absolutely awful - be warned. Bought chromebook which was faulty. Repeatedly asked for replacement but was sent repair. It was still faulty. Impossible to get response from customer care-they just weren't interested. Sent formal complaint by e-mail and letter to CEO based in UK. Both ignored completely. Eventually I took ACER through consumer arbitration and won the case but ACER simply ignored the arbitrator decision and never paid the money I was awarded. I will NEVER buy another ACER product again - they treat customers with utter disdain.Once they get your money they don't want to know.
Well February 2020 I bought a computer from Amazon but it was an Acer laptop. I thought at first it was awesome until bbn I had to send it back a week later well received the replacement one and well after a couple of months operating it it would turn off but when I tried to turn it back on it went to a screen that was not operable cause I had no disk N no harddrive. 3 nights ago I had it sitting on the table N the back came over there was no screws in it well wen I lifted it up to take a look the whole back is missing a whole bunch of screws that belong in it.
I took pictures of it all to show what kind of company Acer N Amazon are.
